A market claim is evaluated against the original source where available. The review records the publisher, source URL, publication date, retrieval date, geography, applicable period, methodology notes, and approved uses.
Claim review
The exact material claim is stored separately from surrounding copy. Reviewers can approve, limit, supersede, or withdraw the claim without obscuring its prior use.

- NEEDS_REVIEW — blocked from new use pending review
- SUPERSEDED — historical record with a replacement
- WITHDRAWN — no longer presented as current

Timeliness
Claims about regulation, capacity, prices, freight, lead time, or market conditions require a review date appropriate to their volatility. A current-looking statement cannot rely on an expired review without a new decision.
