Core Standard
Seven controls govern newsroom evidence.
- Trace material quantitative claims.Connect them to a public source or eligible Direct Box Supply evidence record.
- Keep calculators in scope.Buyer-entered planning outputs do not become market benchmarks or customer-savings proof.
- Protect confidential records.Customer quotes, supplier economics, artwork, and private project files remain outside newsroom tables.
- Date time-sensitive claims.Regulatory, market, freight, capacity, cost, and lead-time statements require review dates.
- Label forecasts.A projection or scenario is not represented as an observed fact.
- Document proprietary methods.Define the sample, exclusions, privacy, aggregation, calculations, limitations, revision policy, and reviewer.
- Preserve corrections.Superseded and withdrawn records stay in the audit history but no longer appear as current evidence.
